Nepal, Elections in May?
The 7th general convention of ruling UCPN (Maoist) party, which was attended by over 4,100 delegates, began on February 2 and concluded today electing a 98-member central committee.
On Thursday unanimously endorsed the formula proposed by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal to end the protracted political deadlock by forming a government led by the sitting Chief Justice Khilraj Regmi as Prime Minister, and holding the elections by the end of May 2013.
