National Central Library of Rome: The IsIAO Library, Room of the African and Oriental Collections
From the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities (MiBAC): We are proud to announce the opening of the IsIAO Library, Room of the African and Oriental Collections, thanks to the collaboration between the National Central Library of Rome and the Association of International Studies on the Mediterranean and the East - ISMEO.

The over 200,000 volumes, 2,500 periodicals (between active and inactive), thousands between manuscripts and woodblock prints, maps and photographs, ordered in the two African and Oriental sections, make this library one of the most important specialized centers in the West.
